7/6/16, Wadsworth, OH: GenFed Financial awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating senior from the Wadsworth community this spring. The winner was selected based upon the originality, attention to detail, and organization of her essay.
The 2016 recipient was Larissa Richards from Wadsworth High School. Ms. Richards plans to attend Malone University.
The award was handed out by Carol Shiverdecker, GenFed Member Service Representative. Carol said, “I am so excited for Larissa and honored we can be a part of her future.”
This spring GenFed awarded $8,000 total in higher education scholarship funds to students throughout the communities served by GenFed.
